The Art of Beadmaking: Dots by Deanna Griffin Dove and Brad Pearson will not see a reprint.
Partnerships are difficult at best. The very dynamic that made the book so well-liked (Brad and Deanna do things completely differently!) made joint decisions difficult, even impossible. For over a year the two have been considering multitudes of reprint scenarios and have exhausted the possibilities.
Deanna takes from this experience much learning, continued respect for Brad’s knowledge and teaching skills and a new love for putting knowledge into words and pictures.
Per King Solomon’s decision, the book will be divided up -- each author may take his or her individual contributions to find a new context for them. In this way, an attempt will be made to make sure the material in the book continues to be available to all beadmakers.
Deanna has reworked her material, added new photos, techniques, eye candy and several tutorials. The result is Dot, Dot, Dots! See above.
